Privacy notice
Privacy notice
Effective October 6, 2026
This notice explains what information is collected on janedesignstudio.com and on all websites managed by Jane Design, and how it’s used. In short: we use analytics to understand how people use these sites so we can make them better, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
Analytics. These sites use PostHog to see how visitors use them, including:
- pages you visit, links and buttons you click, and how far you scroll;
- the website that sent you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location (city or country), based on your IP address;
- recordings of how you move through a page. Anything you type into a form is hidden from these recordings.
PostHog stores a small cookie and local browser storage so it can tell when a visitor comes back.
Contact form. If you use the contact form on janedesignstudio.com, your name, email, and what you write are emailed to Jane so she can reply. They’re used only to respond to you.
Booking. Some sites let you book appointments through a booking service such as Acuity Scheduling. Your booking details go to that service under its own privacy policy (for Acuity, Squarespace’s privacy policy), not to these analytics.
How we use it
Only to understand what’s working on these sites and improve them, and to reply to messages you send. We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising.
Who helps us run these sites
- PostHog: website analytics.
- Cloudflare: hosting and security.
- Booking services such as Acuity Scheduling: appointment booking on sites that offer it.
Your choices
- If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, these sites don’t load analytics for you at all.
- You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use a content blocker.
- If you’re a California resident, or anywhere else, you can ask what information we have about you or ask us to delete it.
Questions
